Calling All Smoothie Lovers!
We are still going strong with 100 days of wellness and one of my favorite things to have are smoothies. They are an easy way to throw together your favorite superfoods for a hearty breakfast, snack or desert. I prefer to make smoothies with frozen fruits ( it’s a texture thing), but feel free to use fresh ingredients if that's what you choose. The base is simple, pineapple and strawberries for a great sweet and tangy combination topped with blueberries, chia seeds, coconut chunks and moringa
Blueberries are anti- oxidant heavy. That means it helps maintain the vitality of your bones and organs, protecting them from ageing and other bad stuff. Chia seeds and coconut are both great for getting plant based protein and healthy plant based fats. The smoothy includes the real superstar: Moringa Indigenous to northern Ghana and off the charts with nutrition. Moringa has more vitamin C than oranges, more vitamin A than carrots and basically every essential amino acid you need, making it great for fueling your body pre or post workouts.
