Before I begin I want to start by saying that if you suffer from anxiety, it is best you consult a licensed therapist. These strategies are alternative techniques and should never replace the advice of a licensed therapist or psychoanalyst.
These relaxation strategies are proven to be effective ways to help us deal with anxiety. Anxiety is when our fight or flight response is activated, making us feel extreme fear when no such threat actually exists. So regularly practicing these techniques especially when you don't feel anxious at all is important if you want to be able to beat anxiety on its onset.
